Enrolments 2022
We are starting to plan for 2022 with enrolment enquiries coming in for classes from Kinder to Year 12. It helps us enormously when looking at the composition of classes in primary and secondary to have a clear idea of intended enrolments.
If you know of any families considering an enrolment at Campania could you please encourage them to contact the school ASAP. Priority always goes to local, in area families, families who already have children at the school and to students from Richmond Primary School (for Year 7). Out of area enrolments are considered based on our capacity. Our aim is to have maximum class sizes of 25 students.
Attendance
We appreciate that families are being very supportive by keeping their sick children at home. This is a requirement and helps keep other students and staff in good health. We do ask that the school is notified if your child is not able to attend.
Review
We recently had a mini review of Grade 7-10 at Campania. The feedback from the review team was overwhelmingly positive. They were impressed to see students in class and actively participating in learning. The panel noted that the school has a strong and consistent approach to positive behaviour support that is evident in all classes visited and could be articulated by students and staff across the school.
The Primary Assembly was held yesterday in the PAC room. This was an opportunity for us to celebrate the achievements of the students from Kinder to Grade 6. Many students were presented with awards for completing the Premiers Reading Challenge, participating in the Inter-School Cross Country and displaying our school values in the classroom and playground.
The Prep/1 and Grade 5/6 class showed the amazing working that they have been completing in Art with Ms Markham.
The Grade 3/4 class presented the cars that they built in their Science lessons about “Force and Motion”.
Congratulations to the Kinder class for winning the 'Best Class' at Assembly award.

Congratulations to all of our Inter Primary Cross
Country Athletes!
Inter Primary Cross Country was held at Bayview Secondary College on Wednesday 9th June and we had an amazing team represent Campania District School.
The weather was not ideal, with rain and wind most of the day. But our students showed resilience and determination running to represent our school. Everyone displayed excellent sportsmanship by competing with pride and cheering on their school friends.
In Prep/1 we have been writing 'B' sentences with four words.

Grade 3-6 students have just completed the two week Swimming and Water Safety program at Oceana. This is a valuable program that teaches the students the skills required to keep themselves and others safe when they are around or in the water. These skills include safe entry into water, survival swimming strokes, safely rescuing others, huddling in a group with life jackets on and saving their energy if they are in deep water without a life jacket. The students have participated well and it has been pleasing to see them all becoming safe and confident in the water. They have been fantastic representatives of our school and should all be proud of their effort and achievements.
