After weeks of planning the Grade 3/4 class visited the Ten Lives Cat Shelter for a tour and talk. Paige in Grade 11 had organised this as part of her major project, so Paige came along as well. Students had a great time, learned about what it means to be a responsible cat owner and got to meet a few of the shelter's cute kitties. The money from our fundraiser last week was given to Ten Lives during our visit. Thanks again to everyone who donated - the staff were very grateful. Well done to our Grade 3/4 students who were very respectful during the visit, and congratulations Paige for organising and completing her project to a high standard.

On Monday, a group of Grade 9-10 students travelled to Swishes Basketball for a few games of 3 on 3 basketball. For many, it was their first time playing, but everyone gave it their best effort and represented the school proudly. The boys and girls teams both played strong, competitive games and showed excellent team work and sportsmanship. Congratulations to all our reclink team for another fantastic day of Basketball.

The Jack Jumpers Basketball held a clinic in the school gym, starting with the high school classes and finishing with the primary students. Each student received a Jack Jumper scarf and tank top. It sure was a sea of green around the school. A very big thank you to our PE teacher Ms Griffiths, for organising this fantastic day.
