Principals Report

We have had a very positive start to Term 3 Paulwith students
(and staff) returning refreshed and
ready to engage in class.

On Tuesday afternoon/evening we held our parent/teacher meetings.  It was wonderful to see so many parents and carers at school discussing their child's progress with the relevant teachers.  For those of you who either couldn’t make it on the day or would like to have follow up conversations with the teachers, these can be organised at any time by contacting the office and we will connect you to the relevant teachers.

Reclink

On Tuesday we participated in the second round of the Reclink AFL competition.  In this competition Campania combines with Bothwell and we play teams from Triabunna, Oatlands and Tasman District Schools.  It is a mixed competition with male and female students playing together. On Tuesday our combined Campania /Bothwell Cats defeated Tasman by over 100 points.  It was a fantastic team effort.  The next round will be played on Thursday 5th of August at the Campania Town Oval.  The game will start at 11:45 and will finish around 1pm.

Enrolments 2022

We are starting to organise classes for 2022, with families looking to enrol in Year 7 being contacted to come in for an interview and a tour of the school.  We always prioritise in-area enrolments first, meaning students from the greater Campania, Colebrook and Richmond areas are guaranteed a spot.  We then look at how many spaces we have left as we cannot enrol above 85% of capacity for the class. This means we will look to start with around 21 students in our Grade 7 class in 2022 (we consider 25 to be the maximum number for each year level). Our experience is that we gain local enrolments across the year and this gives us the space for these students to join the class.

We have an outstanding Kinder program here at Campania.  If you have a child who has or will be turning 4 by the 1st of January 2022, please come in and complete an enrolment application.  To support your child with the transition to Kinder we have a Launch into Learning program that is running on a Friday morning and in Term 4 we will be running a Pre-Kinder program.

If you are a local family or know of a local family considering an enrolment at Campania in 2022, please contact the school.
